Three months ago, my mom passed away from cancer. She and I were super close, so experiencing this loss has been really difficult. She loved to watch all of our videos here and show them off to her friends (and to strangers). She promoted our account way more than we ever did. This week while Andrew and I were walking through our yard, we saw a sloth with her baby. We took these videos of them, and my initial reaction, as with many other exciting (and not exciting) life events, was to send the video to my mom and call to tell her all about it. A video of a momma sloth with her baby feels like a fitting first post back.
