hey btw you didn’t choose the wrong life bc the life you chose is hard my debut poetry collection MAKE BELIEVE is out in 12 days on march 18 and I’m terrified. it’s hard to put yourself out there. it was hard to walk away from my career as an attorney. it’s hard losing the clarity of a 5 year plan. but I wouldn’t change a thing. if you’re trying to figure out which life to pick, I wrote MAKE BELIEVE for you. time is almost up to get all the free things that come with preordering: a print and yoga class and meditation and mini-journal. if you want them, preorder today so you don’t forget. you know where to find that. your life will be hard no matter what. leaving is hard and staying is hard. choosing freedom is hard and choosing stability is hard. failing is hard and not trying is hard. and there isn’t a right answer. there’s no such life as the life you should have picked. there’s just the hard that’s worth it to you.
