How I Went From 165lb to 128lb ( in 13 months) Here’s a step-by-step look at what worked for me: 1. Strength Training 4-6 Times a Week Having a workout plan is key! It keeps you on track and helps you progressively build muscle, boost your metabolism, and achieve long-term results. Consistency is everything. 2. Cardio: 30-Minutes at the End of My Workout Cardio helps burn fat and boosts your overall heart health. Adding it at the end of my workouts helped me keep things efficient and focused while maximizing calorie burn. 3. Nutrition: Following the 80/20 Rule Nutrition is everything! The 80/20 rule allows me to enjoy healthy foods 80% of the time while giving myself a little flexibility for those cravings. It keeps me on track without feeling deprived. 4. Enjoying the Process There are days when I don’t feel like working out, eating healthy, or even seeing progress , but that’s part of the journey. This isn’t my typical video, and I know it might feel a little awkward or ‘cringe’ to film yourself in these moments. I wanted to be real with you, especially in this moment where I didn’t feel my best. I wanted to show you that not everything can be perfect all the time. I have so much responsibility right now , more than I’ve ever had in my life. And I wasn’t really thinking about it. I was just going through the motions . Honestly, this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced, but somewhere along the way, I forgot to take a break. We’re all human, and we need those pauses, those moments to step back, breathe, and reset. And today, that caught up with me. I want to be 100% honest with you because I know I’m not the only one feeling this way. If you’re going through something similar, you’re not alone. When moments like this happen, it’s important to take a break. Just breathe. Think about what’s not working or why you feel the way you do. Then, take the time you need to fix it , don’t rush through it. Healing and progress take time, and if you force it, it might only make things worse. I just want to remind you that it’s okay to not be okay sometimes. Take it slow, be kind to yourself, and give yourself permission to rest. We all deserve that 🫂
That was my first day of Ramadan, and here’s what I eat in a day. I always make sure to have a high-protein meal and drink plenty of water to keep my energy up and stay hydrated. I’ll be sharing another video soon about my gym routine! Here are 3 fitness tips for Ramadan: 1. Prioritize Protein at Iftar and Suhoor to maintain muscle mass and stay full longer. 2. Stay Hydrated, drink plenty of water between Iftar and Suhoor to keep your energy levels up. 3.
