Ollie 🕊️ has unfortunately made his untimely exit from this realm. My beloved 4 and a half year old boy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer last week. After his first dose of chemo, it felt like he was back to his old self. For an entire week we got to soak in life with our boy just like he’s always been. Snuggly, talkative, playful, brushing up against our legs in the kitchen, hitting a ballerina stretch, and always down for a nap where he would nestle for hours in the bend of my knees or the crook of my arm. Despite being abandoned on the streets as a kitten, Ollie has shown his soft and caring side to everyone he’s ever met. Finding him on PetFinder (pic two) was my biggest stroke of luck. Although shy, he would still hesitantly approach family and friends with that little grey stripey body and spotty belly, his little crooked tail rising up in the air as a greeting. A master of squeezy treats, he often didn’t know his own limit when it came to Churus, many of which he got to enjoy with his brother in our last week together. Since we met, I’ve told him I love him every hour of the day. Ollie opened up a part of my heart I didn’t know existed, and there will never be a day he’s not on my mind. We love you Ollie. Thank you for letting us know you. 🩶
