#ad Replying to @Cheri 🎀🍵 answering your FAQ about how I film shower content👇 ✨ You can get the phone holder I’m using in this video by tapping the orange TikTok shop button above the caption or “showcase” on my profile. ✨ Yes, I actually shower immediately after filming clips like this. I get a few shots while the water is heating up to minimize my phones contact with the water, because filming is easier with dry hands & so I can enjoy my shower without thinking about recording. ✨ Why do it at all? It’s my job. I’m a UGC (User-Generated Content) Creator. I sometimes have/want to film shower products for brands. In addition, “everything showers” are a huge part of my self-care routine & I like to share my life in vlogs. ✨ I have caps off to the side where I put the product that’s squeezed into my hand, I then use that product in the shower minutes later. If I squeeze product onto a loofah, I simply don’t wash the product off & then I use it in the shower. If I feel like there’s no other way to save the product before I get in the shower, I’ll use it on my arm(s) right then & there (pls don’t judge😂). ✨ My lens doesn’t usually steam up because I do most of it while the waters still cold or warm, but I do keep a lens wipe nearby just in case. ✨ Sometimes I actually bring my phone all the way into my shower if I want to show myself washing my hair. In this case, I use a full sized tripod instead so the steam on the glass doesn’t effect the suction of the phone holder. ✨ This isn’t filming related but, yes I have a lamp in the shower. It’s waterproof & possibly the best thing I’ve purchased all year lol.
