We opened the nodule up with our geology hammer… The surrounding shale is softer than the nodule and is easily broken away. These multi million-year-old spheres were trapped! 😱 We released them from the loose sediment 🏝️ Unbelievably, some of the rocks actually contained an uncommon cephalopod species! 😍 With some extra preparation in the workshop, these specimens will look even more incredible! 🔬
